Business model
Guidedvisions earns a configurable commission on every paid session. The rate is set in platform settings and applied to each booking, with mentor earnings and platform commission shown transparently.

Students, graduates, career changers and early-career professionals on one side; experienced professionals, retirees and specialists on the other; universities, employers, NGOs and CSR programmes as institutional partners.
Social impact
Access to professional guidance is one of the strongest predictors of opportunity. Making it purchasable, sponsorable and reachable online moves it out of closed networks.
Technology
Modern full-stack web application with authentication, a relational database with row-level security, role-based access, a payment abstraction ready for M-Pesa, cards and international processors, and a provider-agnostic AI layer.
Expansion strategy
Start with Kenya, expand across Africa, then internationally. Architecture is multi-currency and multi-region from day one. Growth paths include corporate mentorship, university partnerships, professional associations, group sessions and sponsored programmes.
Current stage
Working first product. The platform, marketplace, booking flow, dashboards and AI assistant are built. Payments run in clearly-labelled demo mode until a payment provider is connected.
